MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
We currently find ourselves amidst challenging and unprecedented times. I would like to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of all of the OIAA volunteers across our province that are working hard to keep the spirit of the organization alive by changing and adapting to how we connect and come together.
I have been a member of the LCA for 5 years and this is my second term as President of the London Chapter. I am thrilled to be working with such an amazing and dynamic group of individuals: Heidi Bronnenhuber, Linda Pereira, Kelly Peck-McDonnell, Jordan Tremblay, Wendy Barbour, Michele Field, Mackenna Frank, Pam Cecchin, Angela Cowan, Jeff Timmermans, Sara Marziali and Jodie Snyder. The time and dedication that each member of the executive gives to the LCA is critical to maintaining the success of our local chapter.
Our theme for this term is giving back – to our members and our community. This will be reflected through free education webinars and on-line events for our members and vendors alike. It is our hope that in the Spring of 2021 it will be safe to come together again for a family friendly event and also for the annual golf tournament in August.
To help support our community, for the 2020/2021 term, we have planned an on-line 50/50 draw in support of the London Food Bank and as well as a curbside toy drive in support of The Salvation Army Christmas Hamper Program. Last year we raised over $8,300.00 as well as non-perishable food items for the Food Bank! We thank you all for your generous support.
From all of us at the LCA, we want to thank you for your continued support. As always, we welcome any suggestions and feedback that you may have. Please reach out to any of the chapter members with any questions, concerns or suggestions.
